If you have a question you would like to have me pose to UraniumC please enter it as a comment below.  I will try to get it answered the next time I communicate with him.

  1. Stéphane says:

I would like the story to resume. I like it.

  2. jlcollinsnh says:

    Thanks for your interest, Stephane.

When I return to Ecuador later this year I’ll reconnect with UC. Maybe more then.

Meanwhile, if you haven’t already, you might want to subscribe. That way if/when something happens you’ll get a note.

One question that immediately popped up in my head when I read your account of UraniumC was, “If he had spent more than 500 years on an advanced alien guardian ship, why was his writing so crude? Did he not have enough time to learn how to write clearly?” I do not mean to sound cynical. I am just very curious. By the way, I would love for you to continue writing about UraniumC.

  4. Joe says:

    Jim —

Would UC consider recording via audio or video his story? Seems like the two primary issues you’re struggling with are (1) committing to bringing this story to the public and (2) finding the time to properly structure the story in writing. Both these issues (particularly 2) could be resolved by, e.g., recording a podcast-style interview with UC. Hitting “record” and letting him go. It would be fascinating! Just a humble suggestion. (My guess is that you’ve considered this route).

      Hi Joe…

      Interesting idea, but no.

UC has zero interest in telling this tale.

He just thinks it would be amusing if I took it on. Mostly, I sometimes think, because he knows the disbelief and mockery with which it would be met.

Fun for him, not so much for me.

ve been wondering what OC did for entertainment all those 500 years. And what about that most basic of needs, human contact? Especially of the sexual nature.

Also, since he’s been back on earth with no responsibilities, does he experience the need to contribute in a larger way? And what about those invaders? Does he feel remorse for having wiped out hordes of them? How does he come to terms with that?

  6. Cameron says:

Tell the story man, tell it! Or as much as UC permits. I can see why you’d question the value of bothering to do so if UC himself has “zero interest” in telling it, but man oh man I would love to read it! If he is to be believed he’s the only one we SHOULD be listening to.

  7. MR says:

JC, Thanks, I’m really enjoying this storyline. Something popped in my head though that I don’t recall hearing:
Was UC replaced on the Guardian Ship with another Earthling? If so, why was his time over? Was there some sort of selection process for the next person on the GS?
